The Waushara Youth Soccer Program encourages a semi-competitive atmosphere in which players can learn and enjoy soccer without an emphasis on winning. The program's goals include teaching soccer skills, teamwork, good sportsmanship and enjoyment of the game. The program provides recreational soccer for kindergarten through eighth grade youth from throughout Waushara County.
• Registration fee is $30.00 per child and cover the cost of jersey, officials, and individual awards.
• Please speak with one of the coordinators for confidential financial assistance. Your request will be brought before a committee for considerations.
• Each family will be responsible for selling one box of candy bars.
• Each player is required to have shin guard and athletic shoes. Soccer cleats are recommended, but not required. Shin guards MUST be worn at every practice and game for the players protection.
• Send registrations to address (P.O. Box 6, Wautoma, WI 54982) or attend open registration at Wautoma Public Library (410 West Main Street, Wautoma) on June 18, 2011 10:00am - Noon. A limited number of free, previously used shin guards and shoes are available on a first come first serve basis.
• Upon team assignments your child will be contacted by the coach. Practices start in August and take place at St. Joesph' Catholic Church (5-11 years old) and Parkside School (11-13)
